What to Expect When You Contact Me
Personal Responses
I personally read and respond to emails – no virtual assistants or automated responses. When you hear from me, it’s actually me typing back to you from my kitchen table with my coffee (probably cold by then).
Thoughtful Replies
I’d rather take an extra day to research and give you a helpful response than send back something generic. If your question requires research, I might take a bit longer to respond, but you’ll get a thorough answer.
Honest Communication
If I don’t know something, I’ll tell you. If your question is outside my scope of practice as a nutrition professional, I’ll be honest about that and help you figure out who might be better equipped to help.
Follow-Up Friendly
Have more questions after my initial response? Feel free to follow up! I’m happy to continue conversations, especially if you’re implementing suggestions and want to share how things are going.
Frequently Asked Questions
“Can you review my lab results?”
I can provide general educational information about nutrition and hormone health, but I can’t interpret individual lab results or provide specific medical recommendations. For personalized advice based on your labs, please work with a healthcare provider or functional medicine practitioner.
“Can you create a meal plan for my specific condition?”
The content on the website provides general education about hormone-supportive nutrition, but individual meal planning requires a one-on-one professional relationship. I don’t currently offer individual consultations, but I may in the future!
“How long before I see results?”
This is so individual! Some women notice energy improvements within a few weeks, while hormonal balance can take several months to establish. I always recommend giving nutritional approaches at least 3 months to see meaningful changes, and working with healthcare providers for proper monitoring.
“Do you take insurance?”
Since I don’t currently offer individual consultations through the website, insurance isn’t applicable. The educational content here is free, and I occasionally offer group programs that are typically self-pay.
“Can I share your recipes on my blog?”
I love when people share recipes! Please provide clear attribution with a link back to the original recipe post, and share only a brief excerpt rather than the entire recipe. For more extensive sharing, please email me at Contact@allyumplates.com.

Did you make substitutions? Create variations? Have disasters? I want to hear it all! Your creativity often inspires new content.

Before You Email…
Check the FAQ: I maintain a growing FAQ section that might already answer your question.
Search the Blog: Use the search function to see if I’ve already written about your topic.
Be Specific: The more specific your question, the more helpful my response can be. Instead of “What should I eat for hormone balance?” try “I have PCOS and struggle with sugar cravings in the afternoon – what are some satisfying snack options that might help?”
